In his first three years as a trial lawyer, Mr. O’Malley obtained $8.9 million in verdicts for his injured clients. Additionally, in a single year, Mr. O’Malley went to trial three separate times in three separate counties in Illinois, obtaining verdicts totaling $9,296,000.00. Over his 25-year career as a trial lawyer, Mr. O’Malley has collected hundreds of Millions of Dollars on behalf of injured victims.

After spending 19 years in a large firm, Mr. O’Malley, along with his partners, formed COKT in June 2018. Dedicated to serving the western suburbs of Chicago, the firm placed its headquarters in downtown Naperville. In a short period, the firm represented thousands of clients, recovering $100 Million.

In 2010 Mr. O’Malley was named among Law Bulletin’s 40 Under 40, a designation achieved by less than 1% of Illinois attorneys.

Mr. O’Malley is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which consists of some of the most prestigious trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts.

In 2015 Mr. O’Malley was accepted in the National Trial Lawyers Association Top 100 Trial Lawyers – an invitation-only organization that is composed of the premier trial lawyers from each state in the nation

Mr. O’Malley is an active member of the American Association of Justice, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Chicago Bar Association. Mr. O’Malley serves as one of the Directors for the Naperville Heritage Society. He has been a volunteer soccer coach for the Naperville Park District for over ten years.

Mr. O’Malley lives in Naperville with his wife and three children.
