Colin J. O’Malley is a tenacious trial lawyer who brings passion and dedication to his work. His experience as a personal injury lawyer includes representing clients who have sustained traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, multiple fractures, amputations, and have lost loved ones due to negligence.

Early Legal Experience

Mr. O’Malley started his career at the personal injury firm of Goldberg, Weisman & Cairo. He remained there for 19 years, gaining experience and honing his trial skills at one of Illinois’ largest personal injury firms. His extensive success in the courtroom led him to be named a partner of the firm in 2008.

In his first three years as a trial lawyer, Mr. O’Malley obtained $8.9 million in verdicts for the firm’s injured clients. Additionally, in 2011 Mr. O’Malley went to trial three separate times in three separate counties in Illinois obtaining verdicts totaling $9,296,000.00.

Honors & Achievements

In 2010 Mr. O’Malley was named among Law Bulletin’s 40 Under 40, a designation achieved by less than 1% of Illinois attorneys.

Mr. O’Malley is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which consists of some of the most prestigious trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts.

In 2015 Mr. O’Malley was accepted in the National Trial Lawyers Association Top 100 Trial Lawyers – an invitation-only organization that is comprised of the premier trial lawyers from each state in the nation.
