Phil Turcy
ABOUT PHIL
Phil Turcy has been one of Illinois’ prominent workers’ compensation specialists for 25 years. After graduating from the University of Connecticut and DePaul University Law School, Phil served for five years as an Air Force captain in the JAG Corps. Upon completing his service, he returned to Chicago and began his career representing injured workers and, in 2007, Phil was elected President of the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Bar Association.
Phil’s father was an elevator mechanic. Having grown up in a union family and working summers in the local, Phil relates to our union clients and understands what’s at stake when a member suffers a serious work injury. This unique perspective has helped Phil successfully represent thousands of union members over the years.
Phil regularly speaks throughout the state to a variety of organizations about workers’ compensation and other related topics. He lives in Chicago with his wife Liz and enjoys traveling. He is an avid golfer and Chicago sports enthusiast.
