If I Receive Workers’ Compensation, Am I Also Entitled to Social Security Disability Benefits?

The nature of the accident and the nature of the injury means that they’re undergoing a lot of treatment over a protracted period of time. Once it looks like a claim is not going to be resolved within the first year, you’re entitled to apply for Social Security disability benefits. You can receive both workers’ compensation benefits and Social Security disability benefits concurrently. Depending on several factors, including how much money you’re making under your workers’ compensation TTD payments, you may not receive a full Social Security benefit.
